A busy fortnight in Year 3
Dad’s Day proved to be a great success and both children and adults enjoyed building and testing their volcanoes. Some dads enjoyed it so much they even used smoke machines to make their volcanoes realistic!
As part of our value of courage the children have enjoyed their work on legends. They have thoroughly enjoyed all the different legends we have read. They will be writing their own legends for our Eisteddfod writing competition. They worked in groups this week to use Lego to plan their legends and they had some very original ideas and worked fantastically well as part of a team.
We have been really enjoying looking at, and hearing about the countries the children studied to make their posters. It has been really interesting finding out facts from different parts of the world and locating them on the map.
I hope you enjoy finding out about different learning styles by taking the learning styles quiz and we will be sharing our findings after half term
