On Friday 2nd October we celebrated Humility - our value for this half term, across the school in true technicolor style by creating a whole school project. We wanted to share the lesson of humility in the Bible story of Joseph.

Children were asked to wear a colourful coat to school to be used to create a huge image of Joseph’s coat outside. Some talented year 6 artists helped to chalk out his outline and plan the first steps. Each class brought down their coats and the artists helped sort them into different coloured ‘palettes’.

The creative team then got to work on forming the coat usingthe beautiful spectrum of colours on offer. A pile of rags and dowdy cloths were used to form a pile to depict the image ‘from riches to rags’, when Joseph was stripped of his coat of many colours.
