The value for Summer B half term was Thankfulness.

The children learnt about the story of the Leper who returned to say thank you. They have thought about how chocolate is grown and brought to the UK to be made into one of our favourite sweets. The generosity of Mary when she poured perfume over the feet of Jesus caused a lot of discussion about whether we could give up our most precious possessions.

In the morning of Values day on Friday 14th July we welcomed a whole range of parents to come and support us in our activities and learning. They were involved in making fruity faces, leaf rubbings, prayer flags,. We have learnt how to say thank you in different languages and we have thought deeply about all we need to be thankful for.

We loved working with our parents and grandparents and would like to thank them all for taking part in the day.
