Well what a fantastic first half term we have had in Year 3.

The children have worked hard and enjoyed their variety of learning experiences. The last two weeks of the first half term have been very busy and we particularly enjoyed our prickly visitors. Petherton Vets brought two hedgehogs to visit us from the Hedgehog Rescue Centre in Rhoose. The children learned a lot about the hedgehogs and the important role the Hedgehog Rescue Centre plays. They were also able to show what hedgehog  experts they have become. We have enjoyed listening to some of the children’s hoglogs and looking forward to sharing more after half term.

To conclude our mini mammals topic the children worked in pairs to produce a Powerpoint based on bats in Britain and we will be presenting these to the class after half term as well as sharing the bat posters the children have been creating over half term.

It was great to see the children’s many talents being shared during the filming on Movie Making Day and we are excited about getting it completed after half term.
