This week the children have thoroughly enjoyed learning through the traditional story of the Three Billy Goats Gruff. They have been writing fantastic character descriptions of the Troll. Some amazing bridges have been built to help the goats cross safely across the river and some troll traps have also been built. Here are some of the superb descriptions the children have written to describe the Troll.

‘The nasty troll is hungry because he hasn’t eaten for 100 years.’ EC
‘He drinks glue and the other thing he eats is stinky slops.’ HS
‘He doesn’t use his manner.’ JI
‘He licks his lips when he sees people…He looks like a caveman…His manners are really not good’. HM
‘He likes swimming in slime because he drinks it.’ IS
‘His stinky teeth are rotten because he eats rocks and planks and sweets and coke.’ FNJ
‘Suddenly six arms popped out and they wiggled and then he got troublesome… ‘ RT
‘His attitude is horrible, whoever comes across him gets eaten up.’ SE
