It has been a busy start to the New Year in Year 3. The children have really enjoyed their new topics and have been working very hard.

Our class assembly has been our main focus since returning to school and the children worked very hard to produce a brilliant performance. It has been very interesting learning about each other’s talents and sharing ideas on how we could use our talents to benefit others. The children came up with the great idea of having a talent show and the money raised will be donated to an autism charity.

It has been great learning all about different countries of the world and they really enjoyed sharing their work with their classmates. We will have a super display showing all the different countries of the world.

The role play corner shop is now open! The children will be using a lot of maths skills to buy and sell produce and using lots of Welsh in their role play. They have even made their own bilingual signs to display in the shop. This has helped us with our money problem solving that we have been carrying out in maths.

We very much enjoyed our visit from PC Matt who came to our class to talk about being safe online. He told us all about the importance of only using age appropriate resources and the importance of creating a secure password.
